What should be paid attention to in the operation of dredging pump and slurry pump?
(1) During operation, the pressure and flow of the shaft seal water should be regularly checked, and the packing gland should be adjusted or replaced in time to ensure that a small amount of clean water always passes through the shaft.
(2) Regularly check the operation of the bearing assembly. When starting to run, if the bearing heats up, you can stop the pump and run the bearing again after cooling. If the bearing is still seriously heated and the temperature continues to rise, it is necessary to disassemble and inspect the bearing assembly to check the cause. Generally, the heating of the bearing is mostly caused by excessive lubricating oil or impurities in the oil. The bearing grease should be appropriate and clean, and the grease should be added regularly.
(3) As the gap between the impeller and the guard plate increases, the pump performance efficiency will decrease. The impeller should be adjusted forward in time to maintain a certain clearance so that the pump can maintain efficient operation. When the pump is worn to the point that it cannot meet the needs of the system, the wearing parts should be replaced. Before stopping the pump, the pump should pump clean water for a while to clean the slurry flowing through the pump, and then close the pump, valve and packing shaft sealing water in sequence.
