1) The structure of the pump.

For example: when the medium temperature exceeds 160 °C, choose a pump with pump feet as the centerline support; when the medium temperature exceeds 200 °C, choose a radially split structure pump; when the medium temperature reaches about 400 °C and the pumping pressure does not When it is too high, such as the bottom oil slurry pump in the petrochemical industry, in order to minimize the possible leakage points, the OH2 type pump is usually used; when the medium temperature reaches about 400 ℃, although the pressure is not too high, the single-stage pump or the two-stage pump When it cannot be satisfied (such as the radiant furnace feed pump in the petrochemical industry), in order to ensure safety, the BB5 pump is usually used; when conveying low-temperature media, it is recommended to use the VS6 vertical barrel pump, which is easy to keep cold; the viscosity of the medium at room temperature is relatively high. When the temperature is high or easy to solidify and crystallize, it is necessary to configure a thermal insulation jacket or to carry out overall heat tracing/thermal insulation of the pump; when the viscosity is too high at the pumping temperature, it is usually not suitable to use a centrifugal pump.

2) Material selection.

For example: when the pumped medium is below zero and not too low, low temperature carbon steel or austenitic stainless steel materials are usually used; when the pumped medium is below zero and low, austenitic stainless steel materials are usually used; high temperature oil slurry, and When the catalyst particles are contained, the OH2 type pump with lining is selected, and the lining and impeller are made of wear-resistant cast iron; when the pumping medium is high-temperature oil slurry without catalyst particles, the OH2 type pump with lining is selected, and the lining and impeller are CA -6NM material.

3) Selection of mechanical seals and systems.

For example, under normal temperature conditions, the A-type seal is usually selected, and the maximum operating temperature can reach 176 °C; The temperature can reach 400°C; for pumps whose operating temperature is greater than or equal to the self-ignition point of the pumping medium, arrangement 2 or 3 is usually selected; for high temperature or low temperature conditions, the PLAN62 seal flushing scheme is usually added.
