Pump use, repair and maintenance

①Start

1. Check whether the oil level of the lubricating oil is half of the oil level mirror (the lubricating oil has been added before leaving the factory)

2. If it is a double-end mechanical seal (water tank structure), first fill the water tank with clean water (or oil) to the specified water level, and then seal the water tank to make the water circulate as required.

3. Jog the motor and make sure that the direction of the motor is correct before installing the coupling pin. Do not blindly start the motor to prevent the impeller from falling off.

4. Open the inlet pipeline valve, after the water pump is completely filled with water, (for the machine-sealed pump, check whether the machine-sealed water tank or external water injection is normal), turn on the power supply, and gradually open the outlet pipeline valve when the pump reaches the normal speed. It is strictly forbidden to start the pump after the pump is fully turned on.

Turn off the motor. If the pump has been out of use for a long time, the inner body of the pump should be cleaned to avoid freezing the pump in winter. 

③ Repair and maintenance

1. Replace the new oil regularly, the cycle is 2-3 months.

2. When packing and sealing, regularly check the leakage of shaft seal water. If the leakage is serious, adjust the packing gland in time or replace the new disk heel, so that the external water leaks in the form of drops.

3. When the double-end mechanical seal is used, regularly check the water level of the water tank and the turbidity of the water, and add water or replace the clean water in time.

4. If the pump is not used for a long time in winter, the inlet valve should be closed, and the pump should be idling for a few minutes to remove the residual slurry in the pump to avoid freezing and cracking of the pump body.
